Hey, I'm Kevin Wilson!
I'm an internationally recognized guitarist and music educator. With more than forty-five years of experience in gospel, jazz, and rhythm and blues, I've been blessed with a gift that allows me to transcend all contemporary music genres of today. Out of all the genres, I'm probably the most passionate about Quartet. Whether playing in-studio as a session guitarist, providing production input for live band sessions, mentoring guitar students across the globe, or providing private guitar instruction to high-profile artists, I always give my heart and passion to all of it.
A native New Yorker, I do my best to bring an energy to the stage and to my recordings that add a “distinguishable” sound and “aesthetic” that sets my music apart. My energy, sound, and aesthetic have allowed me to create a strong following of fellow musicians and fans alike.
And I've also been blessed to have worked with some of the most well-known artists in the world including Grammy Award-winning artist. I'm currently working on my solo project “EKG” featuring guitarists Erick Walls, Isaiah Sharkey, Jonathan Dubose Jr., and Eric Gales. I wholeheartedly believe that your gift always makes room for you and that music is a gift that keeps on giving. It’s these two principles that fuel my passion and love for his craft and the music industry.

Knowing the fretboard is the GPS of guitar. It takes the guesswork out of your playing. With the method I'm going to teach in the Bootcamp, you'll always be able to find the notes you need.
Chord Melodies
Chord melodies give listeners an understanding of the song you're playing or what you're trying to convey. In the Bootcamp, I'll teach you the method I teach all my students.
How to Expand Your Playing
You'll learn who some of the legends of Quartet music are. You'll discover how to play their songs, chords, solos and lines. Knowing this gives you the tools for using in other genres. I'll show you how it's done!

Frequently Asked Questions
When Will We Start?
We start the first session Saturday, January 15. We will meet every following Saturday, until February 19. Each session is 2 hours.
How Many Students Will Be in the Bootcamp?
I don't have an exact number at this time. But my commitment is to not make it so large that everyone does not get the attention needed.
What if I Cannot Attend All the Sessions?
Attending the session live is always preferred. However, if you are unable to attend, the sessions will be recorded and you will have access 24 x 7. Also, you'll be able to submit your questions in advance if you're unable to attend.
What If I Don't Have the Skills to Learn Quartet?
The Bootcamp is designed to help ALL guitarists. If you have questions or if you're not sure you are ready, send an email to info@KevinwilsonGuitar,com and I'll contact you directly. We can mutually decide if the Bootcamp is a good fit for you.
What if I Change My Mind About Joining?
We only have a limited number of slots available. Once you've enrolled, we have reserved your spot. We have a NO REFUND policy. Therefore, we ask that you please consider carefully if the Bootcamp is right for you. I'm more than happy to speak with you if you have any question before makiing a decision.
